This presentation is to guide you to use the NMU website to find your department and contact people.

Nelson Mandela University consists of 7 academic Faculties. Each faculty is made up of various schools and each school is made up of various departments. The university is also made up of various administrative departments. Go to www.mandela.ac.za and click on faculties and schools to navigate to your specific faculty.

On the Faculties and schools page, Use the scroll bar on the right to move further down the page

Click on the VISIT WEBSITE link to access your faculty

Once you have found your faculty there will be many useful links you can click on for more information regarding the faculty, the schools in the faculty as well as the qualifications offered in the schools.

Be sure to navigate down to the lowest level to get the information that would directly benefit you, for example go to the link to the school of Engineering or the School of information technology.

Should a parent/ guardian have any academic related queries the best starting point would be with the Head of Department. The name and details of the HODs is distributed during the welcome session but it is also readily available on the faculty website as demonstrated in this presentation.
