Recording a MS Teams meeting
Recording a meeting can be used to revisit a meeting or for invited people who are unable to join, to watch later.
Click on the 'more actions' button on the bar at the top of the screen. (the three dots ' as shown now)
A drop-down menu appears, select 'start recording'
A recording time will appear in the top left-hand corner of your screen, this indicates the meeting is being recorded successfully.
Note: Please advise the attendees that the meeting is being recorded and, should they wish to, they can read the privacy policy found on the information bar on the top of the screen.
To stop the recording:
Click on the 'more actions' button and select 'stop recording'
It will prompt by saying 'the meeting is being recorded' and requires confirmation by clicking on 'stop recording' button that the recording should be stopped.
Once the host has received the recording it will be shared in the 'chat' section of MS Teams.
Click on the recording to play.
